BIBLE STUDIES

We will be offering several long-term Bible studies! Sign-up sheets can be found in the Fellowship Hall. Classes begin in October so sign up now!

ANNUAL CHURCH AUCTION TICKET SALES!

The Annual Church Auction is set for Saturday, September 18th. Doors open at 5:30 pm, dinner will be served at 6:30 pm and the silent auction will start at 7:30 pm. Childcare will be available. Tickets are on sale this Sunday in the Narthex after the 9:00 & 11:00 am services, cost is $8 each. Dinner will be family style by Chef Inge. The auction raises funds to meet the PUMC apportionment commitment, which makes a significant difference in the lives of God’s people.

CHILDREN'S CHOIR

Children in grades 2nd - 8th are welcome to join our new Children's Choir. Rehearsal and sign-up begin Thursday, September 9th, at 5:00 pm in the Sanctuary. For more information, please contact the church office at 947-3103.

ANNUAL AUCTION - SEPTEMBER 18TH

We need volunteers and items for this year’s auction! Please contact Inge in the church office to discuss in what area of the auction your God given talents would best be utilized. We need items to auction! Please consider donating collectables, antiques, and new/like new items. NO garage sale items please. Also, consider donating your services if you are a business owner or have connections with a business that is willing to donate. Examples: trip/vacations, golf outings, haircuts, restaurants, chiropractic, pilots, accountants ...just to name a few. We also accept monetary donations.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES

Now is the time to buy extra school supplies while they are on sale. Please put your donations in the Valley Oasis box in the hallway outside the Fellowship Hall. Thank you!

HAVE YOU NOTICED???

If you look up on your way out of the church you will notice our large cross has been repainted in a beautiful bronze brown color. We thank the Trustees for this effort and “Quality Painters” who donated their labor costs to this project.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY DONATIONS NEEDED!

We need YOUR help! We need donations of acrylic worsted weight yarn. You may remember that we make all our items from donations of new or used yarn. Please help us. Piecemakers will not be meeting in the months of July or August. They will resume their regular schedule on September 2nd. Have a great summer!

UNITED METHODIST MEN HELPING HANDS

The UMM Helping Hand Program provides minor maintenance/repair work for members of the congregation when they are unable to do them. To put in a request please contact program coordinators, Harry Boyd or Don Pierce. Information regarding local sources which may be of assistance will be provided if a request cannot be handled by our volunteer base.

BULLETIN DEADLINE REMINDER Every Tuesday, 12:00 noon

Please e-mail your article to office@pumchurch.com. If your event needs to be in a specific week's bulletin, the earlier you can get it to us the better, even if it is several weeks ahead of time. We have so many events and activities, the bulletin gets full very quickly, and we want to be able to accommodate everyone's needs. THANK YOU!

SMALL GROUPS

Small groups are continuing to get folks together in a variety of formats. It is great to be in a small group that is centered in Jesus. New groups will begin every time we have enough people committed. Call Pastor Angela in the church office to sign up, 947-3103.

EMPTY PRINTER CARTRIDGES AND EYEGLASSES

If you have any printer cartridges or eyeglasses to be recycled, please bring them to the Donation Station in the Fellowship Hall and drop them in the appropriate marked box.
