Eventually he became Band Director and in 2008, after a lot of wrestling and prayer, left 15 years in the IT industry for full-time ministry. Husband and father of 3 (Ana, Donnie, and Reva) is one of his greatest joys. • Howard Stanke - MAINTENANCE

Howard & his wife Kathy joined the church in 1998. At that time, Howard was working full time as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Marathon Bancorp in West Los Angeles. He has always been very handy with his hands doing all types of repairs around the house, including rough and finish carpentry. When Howard retired from banking in 2004 Pastor Powell invited him to come on to the staff of PUMC as a part-time handyman.  There is plenty to keep Howard busy with plumbing issues, painting, preschool and church furniture repair and all sorts of ‘honey-dos.’
