Music, or more importantly, music in worship is a powerful way to align ourselves with God and to spend time in His presence. Worship is not just music or a style of music. If we are to worship "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:24) then all that we do in our worship service is Worship. Reading scripture is an act of worship. Praying is an act of worship. Ushering, greeting, running tech and teaching Sunday School are acts of worship. And yes, singing and playing instruments are acts of worship. If you have a heart for God and a willingness to serve His people, won't you join us.
Psalm 150
1 Praise the LORD!
Praise God in his sanctuary;
praise him in his mighty heaven!
2 Praise him for his mighty works;
praise his unequaled greatness!
3 Praise him with a blast of the ram's horn;
praise him with the lyre and harp!
4 Praise him with the tambourine and dancing;
praise him with strings and flutes!
5 Praise him with a clash of cymbals;
praise him with loud clanging cymbals.
6 Let everything that breathes sing praises to the LORD!
Praise the LORD!
